Our Story

Oldbury Dog Walking was established in 2017 and has grown through years of hands on experience working with dogs of different breeds, ages and personalities.

My own love of dogs started long before the business. Through owning, training and competing with my own dogs in agility, I've developed a real appreciation for the fact that every dog is different and that there isn't a one size fits all approach.

Over the years, I've built established walking groups where dogs can enjoy being part of a group while still being treated as individuals. Many of the dogs I walk have been with me for several years and building those long term relationships with both dogs and their owners is a huge part of what Oldbury Dog Walking is about.

 Our Approach

I believe a good group walk should be about much more than simply exercising your dog.

My walks are structured to give dogs the opportunity to explore, sniff and socialise while also developing useful everyday skills such as recall, engagement and walking calmly around other dogs and people. 

Dogs are carefully matched into established groups based on their personality and individual needs. Some love to play, while others are happier simply enjoying the walk alongside their friends - both are absolutely fine.

Where appropriate, dogs can progress to enjoying off lead freedom, but this is never rushed. Building trust, reliable recall and keeping every dog safe always comes first.
